A Bit About Me

My passion is empowering individuals to live their most authentic lives where they can feel free to be themselves, free of self-doubt and an inner critic. I do this by helping my clients examine their relationships, gain insight into their thought patterns, and live a more mindful life. This may include processing the hardships and pain that stem from past and present experiences and acquiring the tools and skills needed to realize their potential.

I primarily utilize approaches focused on acceptance and mindfulness-based approaches to therapy; however, I believe that therapy is most effective when tailored to meet the needs, strengths, and goals of each client, as I believe each person is the expert in their own lives. In order to do this I utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques in order to most effectively help each client make meaningful changes in their lives. In my sessions I actively focus on collaboratively working with each client to help them gain insight into their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, while learning healthy coping skills to modify maladaptive patterns.

Ventured into the small business world to try and make therapy more accessible for all people.

I had the incredible opportunity to work alongside children, teens and young adults in a group practice based in Ambler, PA to assist individuals in building self-confidence, gaining emotion regulation and distress tolerance skills, and gaining assertiveness and boundary setting skills.

I previously interned and worked in a community mental health agency in Norristown, PA where I had the extraordinary pleasure of working alongside people of all ages, races, and ethnicities. Having the privilege to start my journey as a therapist at this agency is what allowed me to ground myself in my values of building a more inclusive, accepting world.
